With the start of the 2010 swim season just over a month away,
we've got several important dates for you to add to your
calendar!
Thursday, April 15 - Parent Information
Night
All
families are encouraged to attend this important informational
meeting. We'll be previewing the 2010 season, introducing the
on-line sign-ups for family work assignments,
and much more! The meeting takes place at the Cold Springs
Community Church, located at 2600 Cold Springs Road in Placerville
at 6:30 p.m.. Refreshments will be served.
Saturday,
April 17 - Swim Suit Fitting event
We'll
be holding a Swim Suit Fitting event for families needing
assistance with sizing for their TYR team suit. There'll be
sample suits to try on and experienced swim parents on hand to help
with your sizing decisions and to answer other gear related
questions. The event takes place at the Western Slope
Aquatics Center, located at Union Mine High School, from 10:00 a.m.
to 1:00 p.m.

April 17 - DDD Shed Clean-up Work Day
All
hands on deck for our pre-season Work Day! Volunteers are
needed to help with cleaning/preparing meet day equipment for the
season, cleaning/organizing our storage shed on the UMHS pool deck,
and much more! We'll be working from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.,
so make plans to join us and lend a hand!

April 17 - Swimmer Safety Day
All swimmers ages 8 and under who are new
to the Dolphins, will be required to attend this event. Our
Dolphin coaching staff will be on hand to evaluate the preparedness
of our newest swimmers for placement to either the Junior Dolphins
or the Competition team. Families with new Dolphin swimmers
will be contacted with more details about the event in the coming
days.
