Good Morning Dolphin
Families!
We hope you are enjoying the wonderful sunshine this week. What a
perfect way to begin a new swim season! With the start of a new
season comes the time for volunteer sign ups and our goal is to
fill all of those spots as quickly as possible!
If you have yet to go online to sign up for your required
volunteer hours, please take the opportunity this week to visit the
website and sign up. Our team must have 36 volunteers just to work
an away meet and an astounding 98 volunteers to work our home
meets. With 40 other assorted jobs to fill, you can see that your
help to make the season a success is crucial. We have a total of
396 spots to fill in our sign ups with just 110 families to draw
from.
This year more than ever we are counting on all of the families to
jump in and help where needed to make the season run smoothly. This
year there are significantly less families to draw from to fill all
of the jobs that are required in order for the team to function.
All families are required to work the minimum 10 points in order to
qualify for priority registration next year. However, with the
reduction in families swimming this year we are definitely going to
need many families to go above and beyond this minimum.
Remember, all families will be expected to work at the League
Championships on July 17th in addition to their regular season
volunteer duties. Sign ups for working at Champs will be out at a
later date.
Please look over the sign up opportunities online or come see
Jennifer Winter or Carissa Morkowski today, May 5th or next
Wednesday, May 12th at the pool. We will be poolside with a paper
sign up sheet for those of you who prefer that method and also
available to answer any questions you have. If we don’t have
the answer, we will definitely get it for you!
