Good Afternoon Dolphin Families!
We are emailing today to update everyone on the status of our
volunteer sign ups. Sign ups have been going well, with many of you
fulfilling your 10 point minimum for next year’s priority
registration. A BIG thank you to all of you who have completed your
sign ups! If you have yet to sign up, we recommend you go online
and sign up as soon as possible as desired jobs are filling
quickly!
After reviewing the total number of points to be filled over the
season and the number of families to fill those points, it has come
to our attention that we have under budgeted the amount of points
each family should have to work over the season. We are hoping that
everyone can come together, do a little more than the minimum and
fill up the remaining slots for this season.
Our first hurdle is to finish up the signups for next
weekend’s Blue and White Meet. This first meet would be a
great opportunity for our Junior Dolphin families to get some of
those volunteer hours out of the way before you’re helping
your little swimmer get a cap and goggles on at the block. Come and
get some sunshine, meet some of the other families and see how a
meet works!
We have the following jobs still unfilled for our Blue and White
Meet:
- Meet Tear Down Worker – 1-3 PM – 2 point value
- (10) Timers – Events 45-84 (approx. 11:30 am-3:00 pm )
– 3.5 point value
If you are able to work any of the above jobs, you can simply
email us at volunteercoordinator@drydigginsdolphins.com
and we can plug you in! Save the time of going to the website and
signing in!
Please remember, we have 65 fewer families to work jobs this year
– we are counting on everyone to make the season a fabulous
success!
